I am a bit late on this, as I have been working on the layout of this site. Sorry guys! Also I have been addicted in playing Virtua Tennis 2009 Wii game. It’s a very exciting game, I like it.

Okay we got Nadal and Verdasco here. Both players both had an unfortunate run at the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals, but they facilitated their home country Spain to defend the Davis Cup title with a 5-0 victory over the Czech Republic in the final.

The Spanish massacre started with Nadal’s win over Tomas Berdych 7-5, 6-0, 6-2; and David Ferrer battled over Radek Stepanek in 5 sets (6-1, 6-2, 4-6, 4-6, 6-8).

Spain’s triumph is assured by Feliciano Lopez and Fernando Verdasco’s win over Berdych and Stepanek 7-6(5), 7-5, 6-2 in men’s double.

Nadal and Ferrer won their respective singles matches in 2 sets in the celebrating atmosphere.  Nadal downed Jan Hajek 6-3, 6-4 while Ferrer cruised to a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Lukas Dlouhy.

This is the fourth Davis Cup title won by Spain (2000, 2004, and 2008) and Spain is the first country to successfully defend the title since Sweden in 1998.
